En route pour le Portugal, beaucoup nous ont conseillé de faire un détour pour visiter Grenade.
Et son Alhambra.
Nous réservons quelques jours pour cette visite ainsi que celle de Séville.
Notre super camping d’hier soir est presque vide et, après étude de la situation, nous le laissons pour celui du centre ville. Bien plus près des joyaux de Grenade, nous éviterons de longs allez et retour en bus.
On  nous avait prévenu, mais nous ne pensions pas que l’accès au palais était aussi compliqué.
Visite Impossible le premier jour, le bureau des réservations nous indique que les prochaines dates libres sont dans 15 jours…
Seul moyen pour obtenir des tickets, être demain matin avant 7h aux caisses du site. Il paraît qu’ils en gardent 2000 pour les visiteurs du jour. Ce drôle de système ne permet pas de réserver la veille pour le lendemain…

Une bonne paëlla pour se refaire et nous descendons visiter le bas de la ville.

La chapelle royale, où sont exposés dans une crypte, les cercueils en plomb de Philippe II et sa femme Jeanne depuis plus de 500 ans. En les regardant, on se demande ce qu’il y a à l’intérieur. (Photo loupée…)
Puis c’est le tour de la très belle cathédrale.

Comme demain, nous devons être de bonne heure au guichet pour la visite du palais Nasrides, nous rentrons très tôt au camping afin de dormir un peu. Michel ne veux pas prendre de risque et décide que nous serons debout à 5h 30 pour être sur place les premiers .
Bien qu’il soit interdit de démarrer un moteur avant 7h du matin (fin des heures de silence), nous obtenons l’accord (dérogatoire) du patron du camping, pour partir à 6 h.
Doreen reste au lit pendant le voyage. Le GPS, mal réveillé, nous fait prendre toutes les petites rues. Nous perdons du temps.
A 6h30, Pépère est sur le parking et Michel peut aller au guichet. Il y arrive à 6h45, mais à sa grande surprise, une longue queue est déjà en place. Pourtant, l’ouverture n’est qu’à 8h, on nous dit que c’est tout les jours comme ça.
Finalement le temps passe vite. Un jeune couple s’intéresse au récit du tour du monde de Pépère et autour des photos sur la tablette de Michel, une discussion s’installe pendant les deux heures.
Tout d’un coup, alors que la vente à commencé depuis une heure, un anglophone revient de l’avant avec une drôle de tête. Il dit deux mots à sa femme qui crispe son visage. Ça sent pas bon tout ça.
En effet, alors que nous sommes là depuis 3 heures,  un haut parleur signale qu’il n’y a plus de place pour visiter le palais aujourd’hui.
Ah non, c’est pas vrai !!!
Si si !!
Et en plus, derrière nous, il y a peut être encore 300 personnes.
Le choc passé, nous approfondissons la situation et il s’avère qu’il reste 46 places pour la visite en nocturne à 22h30.
A mesure que nous nous approchons du guichet, le nombre baisse, c’est angoissant, mais heureusement, nous en obtenons deux…
Il est plus de 9h30, ouf !!!! on a pas fait tout ça pour rien.
Michel retourne à Pépère annoncer la bonne nouvelle à Doreen. Nous partons ensuite voir les jardins et petits bâtiments compris dans le billet.

Encore Paëlla, elles sont trop bonnes, et en fin d’après midi, nous prenons le chemin du Palais.
Après tout ce qu’on a fait depuis ce matin pour être là, espérons qu’il soit aussi beau que nous l’attendons.
Très vite, les doutes se dissipent,  à mesure que l’on avance de pièce en pièce, nous découvrons une pure merveille d’une finesse extrême. Les appareils photos, ou plutôt les photographes n’arrivent pas à fixer cette beauté.

Une question nous revient sans cesse. Est-ce encore plus beau de jour ? Nous ne le saurons pas, mais en général la nuit, tout est plus féerique.
La visite terminée, nous rejoignons Pépère. Il nous attend sur le parking pour dormir cette nuit.
