Malgré un panneau de mise en garde, la montagne n’a pas explosé cette nuit, nous pouvons poursuivre notre chemin.

Aujourd’hui, nous ferons de la route, sans se laisser distraire trop souvent. Objectif, Bjargtangar, dans le Nord Ouest. Là bas, c’est sûr, tout le monde le dit, nous verrons des Macareux.

Sur la route, nous ne respectons pas tout à fait notre résolution de départ et faisons quelques poses,

pour escalader un joli volcan, avec vue sur un autre.

Pour aller voir, de plus près, le poisson sécher dans une ambiance d’une humidité extrême… Attention l’odeur…

Ils ont largement de quoi se nourrir, mais, c’est toujours un moment agréable de donner son pain sec aux chevaux.

Le soleil nous suit depuis plusieurs heures, ce n’était plus arrivé depuis une semaine, nous pouvons faire des photos du paysage.

Nous arrivons en vue des fjords de l’Ouest.

Pour arriver aux Macareux, il nous faut encore faire une mauvaise piste dans le brouillard de la montagne,

Finalement, nous arrivons vers 22 h au campement, 2 km avant l’arrivée, bien que la nuit ne tombe pas, nous, on tombe de fatigue alors, Les Macareux, on les verra demain.

Nous sommes peu au camp. Comme notre chauffage (au fuel) ne marche pas tous les jours, nous nous sommes garés très loin pour ne pas gêner, si nous devons mettre le moteur de Pépère en marche.

Comme toujours, dans ces cas là, il y en a un ou deux qui viennent se coller à nous. Et bien ce sera tant pis pour eux.

Nous avons sûrement bien prié hier soir, car il ne pleut pas et la lumière se prêtera bien à la photo.

En fait, tout doucement, la journée se passe sur la falaise

Nous faisons d’ailleurs la connaissance d’un belge sympathique, venu 6 semaines en Islande avec son Land, des tonnes de boîtiers et objectifs mais, sans sa femme. Juste pour faire de la photo.
